Delivery Partner: NRW
Parkers WA delivered remote-site access infrastructure works at the Christmas Creek mining facility in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, working alongside head contractor NRW to support ongoing operations at one of Fortescue’s key iron ore sites.
Christmas Creek forms part of Fortescue’s Chichester Hub and has been in operation since 2009, and is also now home to Fortescue’s Green Energy Hub and Green Metal Project.
Christmas Creek is one of Fortescue’s key operational mines in the Pilbara, located in the Chichester Ranges and forming part of the Chichester Hub alongside the Cloudbreak mine. The site continues to play a critical role in Fortescue’s operations and is also the location of its Green Energy Hub, supporting the company’s future growth plans. Delivering access infrastructure works in this remote, live-operating environment required careful logistics planning and coordination with NRW.
