Project Overview

Parkers WA delivered bollard installation, carpark access infrastructure and associated civil works across three major Transperth public transport depot facilities in metropolitan Perth (Jandakot, Alkimos and Bayswater), working alongside head contractor Swan Group WA.

Each depot forms part of the Public Transport Authority’s ongoing investment in Perth’s growing bus network, supporting new and expanded services across the metro area.

Scope of Works

• Bollard installation across depot access and pedestrian zones
• Carpark access infrastructure for staff and fleet vehicle areas
• Associated civil works supporting depot operations
• Coordination across three separate live and in-construction depot sites

Backing Perth’s Expanding Bus Network

The Alkimos depot, built by Swan Group WA, opened with capacity for 90 Transperth buses to support the bus feeder network servicing the new Yanchep Line stations, while Swan Group also secured a multi-million dollar design-and-construct contract for the new Bayswater depot and previously delivered the Jandakot facility for the Public Transport Authority. Parkers WA’s access infrastructure works supported all three sites as part of this broader network expansion.
